Empowering musicians through open-source development and decentralized economics
Bitcoin Music is an open-source project licensed under MIT and BSV licenses. We foster an open culture where forking, cloning, and adding to the code and features is welcomed and encouraged for the music production community.
The $BMUSIC token represents our approach to creating a sustainable economic model that rewards contributors while maintaining transparency and openness in the music industry.

Revenue Sharing Model: The $BMUSIC token is designed to enable revenue sharing with contributors through dividend distributions. Token holders may receive dividends based on platform revenues from subscriptions and NFT marketplace fees.
Trading & Liquidity: The $BMUSIC token is intended to be freely tradable on the Bitcoin Exchange and associated platforms. We encourage an active secondary market to provide liquidity and price discovery for musicians' work.
Artist Revenue: 97.5% of all music NFT sales go directly to artists, with only a 2.5% platform fee. This ensures musicians retain the vast majority of their earnings while building sustainable careers on the blockchain.
